“David and crew did an excellent job!! Would use them again!!”
Most of Lee’s Summit is newer than the rest of the metro, which usually means two-story homes with full basements, attached garages, and a flight or two of stairs to manage. We plan for that — extra hands when a basement’s packed, the right dollies for a long carry from a back bedroom to the truck. Out near Lakewood and the lake, we’ve learned which streets are tight on parking and where the truck can actually sit.
Downtown Lee’s Summit is a different job entirely: older bungalows and craftsman homes off Douglas and Third Street with smaller doorways and porch steps. Our crew handles both kinds in the same week, and we don’t subcontract any of it — every mover on your job is a full-time David’s employee David trained himself.
Pricing is the same flat Kansas City structure: $129/hr for two movers and a truck, $169/hr for three, pads and dollies included, written quote locked before move day, $99 deposit to hold the date.
Newer subdivisions
Two-stories and basements off I-470 and US-50 — we bring the crew size the floor plan actually needs.
Downtown homes
Older bungalows near Third Street get padded doorways and careful stair-carries.
Lakewood area
We scout truck parking ahead of time so the carry stays short.
Long-distance out of Lee’s Summit
Plenty of Lee’s Summit families are heading out of state, and we run those ourselves on our own dedicated truck — no shared loads with strangers’ furniture.
Long-distance starts at a binding $1,950 with a written quote, and your shipment gets up to $1,000,000 in cargo coverage. If your move-out and move-in dates don’t match, climate-controlled storage runs from $50 a month per vault until you’re ready.
